BREW RATIO
12g coffee : 200g water
STEP ONE : Prepare your coffee
Boil fresh water. While heating, weigh 12g of coffee beans and grind to a medium-fine consistency (similar to table salt).
Note : Most of the AeroPress scoop holds ~16g, but we recommend 12g for balance.
STEP TWO : Rinse the filter
Place the paper filter into the AeroPress cap and rinse with hot water to remove any paper taste. Discard the rinse water.
STEP THREE : Set up
Attach the filter cap to the AeroPress chamber. Place it upright on your mug and add the ground coffee.
Tip : Use the AeroPress funnel for clean, easy dosing.
STEP FOUR : Add water & stir
Start your timer and pour hot water up to the 200ml. Stir gently to ensure all grounds are fully saturated.
Note : Even saturation is key for balanced extraction.
STEP FIVE : Insert plunger
Insert the plunger slightly into the chamber to create a seal. This helps maintain pressure and temperature during brewing.
STEP SIX : Press & serve
At 2:00 minutes, press down slowly and steadily until all coffee is extracted into your cup. Remove the AeroPress and enjoy.
Note : Apply gentle, consistent pressure, don’t force it.
